Ameropan Oil Terminal was acquired in 1988 and engineered to receive, store, and ship asphalt liquids by truck, rail, and barge. The terminal is situated in an industrial area of Chicago, IL alongside Chicago Sanitary and ship canal. There are 22 storage tanks on more than 20 acres. Ameropan Oil Terminal is located between I-55 and the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal, 15 minutes from downtown Chicago. The terminal is certified to ship asphalt for state construction projects in Illinois, Indiana, and the Combined State Binder Group including Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin. On May 15, 2006 Ameropan Oil Corporation was presented with the CN Gold Award for railcar safe handling in 2005.
